Email, SMS and web push marketing with popups, signup forms and prebuilt automations.

A good fit for stores that want strong email automation with 24/7 support on every plan, including free. The catch is that SMS now needs the Pro plan, which lifts a 20,000-contact store from $265 to about $515 a month.

## Overview

Omnisend sends email, SMS and web push campaigns and automations for Shopify stores [1]. It includes popups and signup forms, prebuilt welcome and abandoned-cart flows, and an AI segment builder [1][2]. You can also drive it from ChatGPT or Claude through its MCP connection [1].

Support is 24/7 by live chat and email on every plan, including the free one, and Omnisend migrates your lists, segments and flows from your old tool at no charge [2].

## Pricing

Plans are priced by contact count, and new paid plans get 30% off the first three months [1]. Standard costs $16 for 500 contacts and $50, $265 and $900 at 3,000, 20,000 and 100,000 contacts, with sends capped at 12 times your list size [2]. Pro removes the email cap and costs $59 for 2,500 contacts, rising to $70, $375 and $1,334 at our three sizes [2]. Since May 4, 2026, new subscribers can add SMS only on Pro, as a monthly dollar subscription from $0.009 a US text [3]. With SMS included, our stores pay about $95, $515 and $2,034 a month. Omnisend's SMS help page does not mention carrier fees [3].

Omnisend is rated 4.7 from 3,186 reviews, with 89% five-star and 5% one-star ratings [1]. Merchants praise the editor, abandoned-cart and welcome flows, and fast, patient 24/7 support [1]. Recent 1-star reviews describe account suspensions, deliverability drops after switching, and refused refunds; Omnisend replies to each one in public [6].

## Data

Owners, admins and analysts can export contacts to a CSV file from the Audience Export page [4]. Omnisend runs on Google Cloud Platform, according to its data processing agreement [5]. The agreement describes its security controls but does not name a SOC 2 report or ISO 27001 certificate [5].
