There is one self-serve plan, the Core Plan, priced by your GMV over the last 12 months2. Stores up to $5M a year pay $750 a month, so both a $216,000 and a $1.44M store pay $750; a $7.2M store pays $1,1252. Discounts are available for annual terms, and a custom plan is priced by quote1,2. There is no free plan or trial1.
Usage charges: None listed for the Core Plan; add-ons such as intraday refresh, demographic enrichment, SQL access and Google Sheets mirroring are sold separately, and Polar may bill outside your Shopify invoice1,3.. Free trial: None.

What it does
Polar is an analytics and data platform for ecommerce, listed on the Shopify App Store since October 20201. It brings Shopify, Amazon, Meta, Google, TikTok, Klaviyo and other data into one warehouse, with profit, ROAS, CAC, LTV and inventory defined once1.
On top sits an AI Operator that answers questions, shows the definition behind each number and, once you approve, acts on ad budgets and stock1. The Core Plan also includes Klaviyo Audiences and Advertising Signals for sending data back to marketing tools2.

Your data
You can download any report as CSV, up to 100,000 rows per export, and ask support to schedule exports to Google Sheets on supported plans4. SQL access to the warehouse is sold as an add-on3. Polar's terms say the service is hosted and data processed in the United States in its Snowflake environment, with providers in the US and EU, and name no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification5.
